CoAsia CM (KOSDAQ: 196450), a leading advanced optical solutions company, announced that it is taking steps to stabilize its share price and enhance corporate value by improving the market perception associated with low-priced stocks.
The company announced that its Board of Directors approved a proposal on June 26 to consolidate every five shares of common stock into one share. Upon completion of the reverse stock split, the par value per share will increase from KRW 1,000 to KRW 5,000, while the total number of issued shares will be adjusted from 45,319,582 shares to 9,063,914 shares.

The company plans to strengthen market confidence by providing investors with a more stable trading environment while expanding the foundation for long-term investment.
Meanwhile, in order to expand its business focus into next-generation optical markets, the company will hold an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on June 30. The agenda includes improving its financial structure through a reduction of capital reserves and the transfer of such reserves to retained earnings, as well as adding new business purposes related to robotics.
The company is also making steady progress on its mass-production project for ToF 3D sensing camera modules and is expanding its global business portfolio through initiatives such as the development of Depth Cameras for Physical AI applications, while broadening its core business into the robotics sector.
A company official said, “As we continue expanding our business into the more advanced Physical AI sector, this reverse stock split represents a strategic measure to proactively respond to strengthened listing maintenance requirements while enhancing the company's appeal to investors.
