CoAsia CM (KOSDAQ: 196450), a manufacturer of camera modules and optical lenses, announced that it has maintained a three-quarter streak of profitability, recording cumulative sales of KRW 209.8 billion and operating profit of KRW 3.8 billion for the third quarter of 2025.
The company stated that it has successfully shaken off the performance pressures of recent years and plans to solidify this year as a clear turning point toward stable and sustainable earnings.
The recovery in performance was primarily driven by improving global smartphone demand and stronger sales of Samsung Electronics’ major models. In particular, steady demand for the Galaxy A series has contributed meaningfully to the profitability of CoAsia CM, which supplies camera modules and optical lenses for the lineup. Market research firms have also published analyses supporting this trend, citing solid Galaxy A-series performance and rising Samsung smartphone shipments.
CoAsia CM has remained focused on strengthening fundamentals rather than pursuing short-term gains, investing in independent technology development, shifting its product portfolio toward high-resolution offerings, and enhancing production efficiency. A company representative commented, “Our internal efficiency improvements and profitability-oriented management approach are translating into tangible results. We will continue to build a stable profit structure and maintain the positive trajectory in performance.”
The company added, “Cameras—often called the ‘eye of the Fourth Industrial Revolution’—are expanding beyond smartphones into robotics, autonomous driving, IoT, and numerous other industries. As the only company in Korea that manufactures and sells both camera modules and optical lenses, CoAsia CM will continue to secure long-term growth momentum in the smart device and intelligent systems market through ongoing R&D and proprietary technological capabilities.”
